Asesinato de Charlie Kirk y censura a Kimmel sacuden la libertad de expresión en EE.UU

Police are investigating now, suspect in custody,” an alert from UVU said. An older man was arrested and taken into police custody. The author and media personality, co-founded Turning Point USA in 2012, for which Kirk serves as executive director. El asesinato del activista conservador Charlie Kirk ha reavivado el debate sobre la libertad de expresión en Estados Unidos, en medio de decisiones polémicas como la cancelación del programa nocturno de Jimmy Kimmel y el anuncio del presidente Donald Trump de declarar al movimiento antifascista como organización terrorista.

ABC retiró indefinidamente del aire el programa de Kimmel, uno de los comediantes más reconocidos del país, luego de que criticara a los republicanos por aprovechar políticamente el asesinato, presuntamente cometido por Tyler Robinson, un joven blanco de 22 años.
